The Kan-Du program is a term based, structured activity incorporating
human values based training. The program is implemented through
martial arts as the primary learning key to impact your children
and cement these values.
Your students will be instructed in a safe, fun and supportive environment
utilising the familiar school backdrop and their own teachers to
ensure a comfortable learning environment. The Kan-Du program can
be tailored to suit students of all grade levels.

Overview
Kan-Du human values training sessions begin
with an introduction to the program and an overview of what will
be taught throughout the duration. In the first week students are
given a “Kan-Du” student
card that will list the values that we will be working on each week.
The students are responsible for bringing their card to class each
session. Students are also given a “Kan-Du” beginners
white belt at the start of each session to wear for the duration
of the class. Each session students will be asked questions about
the human value for that week and what it means to them, this discussion
will then be implemented into a physical form through martial arts
for the remainder of the class. Upon showing understanding and commitment
to each human value the student will be presented with a “Kan-Du” weekly
certificate of completion. Upon completion of the full term based
Kan-Du program there will be a Kan-Du Human values based martial
arts grading where students will be evaluated and awarded with a “Kan-Du” certificate
of achievement along with a Blue, Jnr first level martial arts
belt for them to keep as a reminder of their accomplishments in the
Kan-Du program.
On a weekly basis your Kan-Du instructor will touch on underlying
issues of submissive bullying, stranger danger, peer group pressure,
self-esteem and health and nutrition. These additional programs can
also be tailored into your Human Values program as required. All
classes are instructed through martial arts and open facilitated
discussions. This indirect, non-confrontational way of educating
allows the instructor to identify possible problems the student is
encountering and provide awareness and strategies to combat them
in a discreet way.
The school has total control over the selection
of Human Values they want taught to their students.
Give your children the kick start they deserve.
